Nikon D80 SLR Digital Camera user reviews

" Love My Nikon D80 and have Looooong since got my use out of it. I think its paid for itself already in vacation pix alone! Its very easy to use and lets anyone take amazing pictures! Once you get used to the settings and stuff theres so much you can actually do with it!!! "

"The Nikon D80 is an excellent mid range camera that works well with previously purchased lens for the Nikon system. The metering functions are great, and the processing power is awesome. This is a great travel camera with good weight and it feels good in the hand. I have no disappointments with the camera. The supplied software suite was easy to install and the interface with the camera worked well the first time I used it. I recommend this camera if one does not want to make the jump to the D300. Most individuals will be unable to detect the difference in 10 megapixels verses 12 megapixels. This camera should produce some great photo enlargements. "
"Bought this Nikon D80 as an anniversary gift for my husband. He has the D50 and wanted to step up. He LOVES this camera. I have the Nikon D70 and it is my opinion that the D80 is a big improvement in ease of use and the 3 inch monitor is sweet! The pictures taken in both automatic and manual modes have been beautiful. I would recommend this camera for anyone interested in a good quality mid-range DSLR. I bought the camera at Adorama for a very fair price. I highly recommend this company. I have dealt with them several times and have never been disappointed with their customer service, prompt shipping at reasonable rates and great packaging. "

"I have been using point and shoot cameras since I learned how to use a SLR on my Olympus OM-1 which has been almost 20 years. So, I am a little rusty, but wanting to learn again as well as be able to take great pictures immediately...The D80 fits the bill perfectly. In just 14 days, I have taken over 200 photos and boy what a difference over my previous cameras!!! Yes, I might have gotten by with a D40x, but I love my new D80."

    "Pros: Bright and clear pictures.
Cons: Pixels could have been more
Summary: I love my Nikon D80. It's easy to handle almost like a "aim and shoot" camera. "
